Known for converging imaginative vision with technology, and delivering commercial precision, Thea has designed world-class festivals, ceremonies, exhibitions, and touring productions for global brands, governments and leading cultural institutions.
Thea brings authentic leadership, financial acuity, and a sharp instinct for enhancing audience experience to every project. Driven by a passion for technology that transforms how fans connect, she has shaped destination-defining moments, from SXSW Sydney’s inaugural festival and the 2020 AFL Grand Final entertainment program, led successful major bid campaigns for world sporting events to immersive attractions with The Rolling Stones and Real Madrid.
As a trusted partner to governments, cities, and international organisations, she leads teams through complex, creative and multi-stakeholder environments with clarity and vision. Tony Cochrane AM stands as a titan of the Australian and global events landscape, celebrating a fifty-year career that has fundamentally redefined the intersection of sport and live entertainment. His visionary leadership has consistently turned ambitious concepts into multi-million dollar industries, and he is currently serving in Government roles, giving back to the community through his roles as Brisbane Olympics Government Liaison and Queensland Envoy for Major Events.
His creative portfolio is as diverse as it is impressive, spanning the West End, Broadway, and Australia's biggest arenas. Tony’s entertainment credits include producing iconic milestones such as the massive Main Event with John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, and Anthony Warlow, The Ultimate Event with Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, and Sammy Davis Jr., and the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit Hairspray. His leadership and style in forming the V8 Supercar Championship, and his involvement in AFL, demonstrate Tony’s passion, forged along a unique path through the arts and sports sectors.
